Indrasena Reddy at Raj Bhavan in Agartala on Tuesday as part of their foundational training programme.<br><br>The interactive session, held at 11:00 AM, was attended by senior officials, including Secretary to the Governor, Secretary of General Administration (P&amp;T) Shri Apurba Roy, IAS, the ADC to the Governor and Dr. Elizabeth from the State Institute of Public Administration and Rural Development (SIPARD).<br><br>During the interaction, the Governor engaged with the probationers and learned about their diverse academic backgrounds and experiences during their ongoing training at SIPARD. The officers come from varied disciplines, including engineering, basic sciences, humanities, agriculture and law.<br><br>The probationers also shared their experiences from the training programme, including field visits, institutional sessions and grassroots interactions, which have helped them gain a broader understanding of public administration and the challenges faced by communities at the local level.<br><br>Congratulating the newly recruited officers, Governor Indrasena Reddy stressed the important role of civil servants as a bridge between the government and the people. He urged them to discharge their responsibilities with integrity, transparency, efficiency and empathy.<br><br>The Governor particularly emphasised the need for effective grassroots governance and called upon the officers to ensure that government welfare schemes and development programmes reach people in the remotest areas of Tripura.<br><br>He also encouraged the probationers to make effective use of technology and their academic expertise to improve public service delivery and strengthen administrative efficiency. Emphasising ethical conduct, the Governor reminded the officers of their responsibility to remain committed to public service and accessible to citizens seeking administrative assistance and redressal.<br><br>The TCS officers expressed gratitude for the opportunity to interact with the Governor and shared their aspirations for their upcoming field postings. They reaffirmed their commitment to contributing to Tripura&#8217;s socio-economic development, rural empowerment and sustainable growth.<br><br>The session concluded with group photographs, followed by high tea and words of encouragement from senior officials and SIPARD faculty members.
