The vehicle uses a vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) configuration, similar to a helicopter, and is powered entirely by electric motors.<br><br>A video of the latest test flight shows the prototype successfully lifting off the ground, marking a significant milestone in the team&#8217;s efforts to develop electric personal flying mobility technology in India.<br><br>The ambitious project is being developed in the mountainous region of Almora, Uttarakhand, reflecting the growing interest among Indian innovators in advanced drone technology, electric propulsion and next-generation transportation systems.<br><br>Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also congratulated Ravi Tamta on the successful flight test through a social media post.<br><br>\u201cHeartiest congratulations to Ravi Tamta ji, the young innovator from Almora, Uttarakhand, on the successful flight test of the HAPIDA SKYNEX prototype while innovating in drone technology,\u201d Dhami said.<br><br>The Chief Minister described the achievement as evidence of the talent, innovation and scientific thinking among India&#8217;s youth.
