The national-level inaugural ceremony is scheduled for August 6, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to formally launch the campaign and appeal to citizens across the country to actively participate in building an addiction-free India.<br><br>The organisers said the inaugural event is expected to witness the participation of senior government officials, elected representatives, policymakers, academicians, healthcare professionals, industry leaders, representatives of educational institutions, social and religious organisations, youth groups, and members of civil society.<br><br>Describing the initiative as a national people&#8217;s movement, the Brahma Kumaris stated that the campaign is designed to reinforce key Government of India programmes, including the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Mission Spandan of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) under the Ministry of Home Affairs, and the MY Bharat (Mera Yuva Bharat) initiative of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.<br><br>The organisation further noted that, under Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) signed with the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and the Ministry of Home Affairs, it has been actively supporting national anti-drug efforts through public awareness campaigns, value-based education, and Rajyoga meditation programmes across the country.<br><br>The campaign has been dedicated to the memory of Rajyogini Dadi Prakashmani Ji, former Chief Administrator of the Brahma Kumaris, on the occasion of her 19th Punya Smriti (death anniversary).<br><br>Highlighting the campaign&#8217;s broader vision, the organisers said its objective extends beyond collecting 10 crore anti-drug pledges.
