The unusual incident came to light after homeowner Balabhai Chauhan was awakened by the persistent barking of dogs outside his residence. When he went to investigate, he opened the bathroom door and unexpectedly came face-to-face with the crocodile.<br><br>The family immediately informed the forest department, which dispatched a rescue team to the location. Forest personnel, assisted by members of the Daya Foundation, carried out a rescue operation that lasted nearly an hour. The crocodile was safely secured without injury and later released into a nearby pond.<br><br>Rescue volunteer Nitesh Chauhan said the team responded promptly after receiving information from the forest department and ensured the animal was safely relocated to a suitable habitat.<br><br>Forest officials said crocodiles are more likely to enter human settlements during the monsoon season, when rising water levels force them out of their usual habitats.
