A proud son of Tripura and co-founder of health-tech startup Mobilab, Ankit is working to make quality healthcare more accessible and affordable for people living in rural and underserved areas across India.<br><br>Mobilab has developed an AI-powered portable diagnostic device that enables laboratory-quality blood testing at Primary Health Centres (PHCs) and remote locations. The compact device can deliver test results in approximately 30 minutes, helping healthcare workers detect diseases early and begin timely treatment without relying on conventional laboratory infrastructure.<br><br>The innovation is expected to significantly reduce the cost of diagnostic testing while improving access to healthcare services in villages and remote regions where medical facilities are limited.<br><br>Mobilab&#8217;s technology has been jointly assessed and validated by premier institutions, including the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and AIIMS New Delhi, with additional testing validation conducted at Guwahati Medical College (GMCH).<br><br>Before completing his PhD, Ankit earned his bachelor&#8217;s degree from IIT Guwahati.
