{"id":24610,"date":"2026-07-30T08:54:29","date_gmt":"2026-07-30T08:54:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aguli.in\/?p=24610"},"modified":"2026-07-30T08:57:29","modified_gmt":"2026-07-30T08:57:29","slug":"tbse-declares-year-saving-exam-results-final-pass-rate-improves-board-to-announce-2027-exam-schedule-soon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aguli.in\/index.php\/2026\/07\/30\/tbse-declares-year-saving-exam-results-final-pass-rate-improves-board-to-announce-2027-exam-schedule-soon\/","title":{"rendered":"TBSE Declares Year-Saving Exam Results; Final Pass Rate Improves, Board to Announce 2027 Exam Schedule Soon"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Agartala, July 30:<\/strong> The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) on Thursday declared the results of the 2026 Year-Saving Examination, formerly known as the compartmental examination, bringing the examination process for the 2026 academic session to a close.<br><br>Announcing the results, TBSE President Dr. Dhananjoy Gon Choudhary said that with the completion of answer script reviews, self-inspection, and the Year-Saving Examination, all post-examination formalities for the 2026 board examinations have now been completed.<br><br>For the Madhyamik (Class 10) examination, 758 candidates appeared in the Year-Saving Examination, out of which 239 students qualified. As a result, the overall pass percentage increased from 84.18% to 84.93%.<br><br>In the Higher Secondary (Class 12) examination, 1,570 candidates took the Year-Saving Examination, with 350 students clearing it. The overall pass percentage consequently rose from 79.33% to 80.65%.<br><br>Dr. Choudhary noted that despite the improvement after the supplementary examination, the overall pass percentage in 2026 remained lower than the previous year. In 2025, the Madhyamik pass percentage was around 92%, while the Higher Secondary pass percentage stood at approximately 84%.<br><br>Expressing optimism, the TBSE President said the board hopes students will achieve better academic performance in the coming years.<br><br>He also informed that mark sheets and other documents for Year-Saving Examination candidates will be available for collection on July 31.
