When they returned at around 8:00 PM, they found the main door broken open and the house completely ransacked.<br><br>The burglars allegedly broke into the house during the family&#8217;s absence, overturned cupboards, showcases, and bedding, and decamped with around \u20b910,000 in cash along with several other valuables. The exact value of the stolen items is yet to be determined.<br><br>Following the discovery, the family immediately informed the local police. According to the victim, police officials said they were occupied with another case and assured them that a team would be dispatched to the spot.<br><br>However, by approximately 9:00 PM, nearly an hour after the complaint was lodged, the family said they were still waiting for the police to arrive and begin the investigation.<br><br>The incident has raised concerns among local residents over the security situation during festive occasions, when many homes are left unattended.
