In a significant administrative reshuffle aimed at strengthening policing and improving operational efficiency, the Tripura Police Headquarters<\/strong> on Wednesday transferred 12 police officers<\/strong>, including seven Officers-in-Charge (OCs)<\/strong> of police stations across the state. The transfers have been made with immediate effect<\/strong> in the public interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to an official order issued by the Police Headquarters, several key police stations have received new Officers-in-Charge as part of the exercise. Inspector Sanjit Sen<\/strong>, who was serving as OC of Belonia Police Station<\/strong>, has been transferred and posted as the new Officer-in-Charge of West Agartala Police Station<\/strong>. In turn, Inspector Rana Chatterjee<\/strong>, the former OC of West Agartala Police Station, has been posted as OC of Amtali Police Station<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inspector Krishnadhan Sarkar<\/strong> has been transferred from Khowai Police Station<\/strong> and appointed as the new Officer-in-Charge of East Agartala Police Station<\/strong>. Inspector Paritosh Das<\/strong>, previously serving at Amtali Police Station<\/strong>, has been posted as OC of NCC Police Station<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reshuffle also includes Inspector Bishnu Ch. Das<\/strong>, who has been transferred from Baikhora Police Station<\/strong> to Srinagar Police Station<\/strong> as Officer-in-Charge. Inspector Subimal Barman<\/strong>, who was serving in West District<\/strong>, has been appointed as the new OC of Belonia Police Station<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further, Inspector Arunodaya Das<\/strong> has been shifted from Srinagar Police Station<\/strong> to Baikhora Police Station<\/strong>, while Inspector Prajit Malakar<\/strong> has been transferred from NCC Police Station<\/strong> to Khowai Police Station<\/strong> as Officer-in-Charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The transfer order also covers four women police officers<\/strong>. I\/C Woman Inspector Shipra Bala Chanda<\/strong> has been moved from South Tripura District<\/strong> to Tripura Police Control Branch (TPCB)<\/strong>. I\/C Woman Inspector Munna Majumder<\/strong> has been transferred from West Agartala Women Police Station<\/strong> to South Tripura District<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, Woman Sub-Inspector Mousumi Datta<\/strong> has been posted from TPCB<\/strong> to Bishalgarh Women Police Station<\/strong>, while Woman Sub-Inspector Ripita Bhattacharjee<\/strong> has been transferred from Bishalgarh Women Police Station<\/strong> to West Agartala Women Police Station<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
