Locals alleged that every year only temporary repairs and thin layers of bitumen are applied in the name of road renovation, without any lasting solution. As a result, the road becomes damaged again within a short period.<br><br>The situation has also raised questions among residents over the proper utilisation of public funds. Patients requiring transportation, school and college students, daily commuters and vehicle drivers are among those facing regular difficulties due to the poor condition of the road.<br><br>Locals also expressed concern that the damaged road has increased the risk of accidents.
