{"id":23898,"date":"2026-07-10T14:57:12","date_gmt":"2026-07-10T14:57:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aguli.in\/?p=23898"},"modified":"2026-07-10T15:08:04","modified_gmt":"2026-07-10T15:08:04","slug":"tsf-flags-civic-infrastructure-gaps-in-jirania-sub-division-submit-memo-to-sdm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aguli.in\/index.php\/2026\/07\/10\/tsf-flags-civic-infrastructure-gaps-in-jirania-sub-division-submit-memo-to-sdm\/","title":{"rendered":"TSF flags civic infrastructure gaps in Jirania sub-division; Submit memo to SDM"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Agartala: Jul 10.<\/strong> The Twipra Students&#8217; Federation (TSF), Sadar East Divisional Committee, today submitted a memorandum to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Animesh Dhar of Jirania, urging immediate intervention to improve essential public services and infrastructure in Mandwi, Jirania and Khumulwng areas.<br><br>In the memorandum, signed by TSF Sadar East Divisional Committee President Sangit Debbarma and Secretary Sachlang Debbarma, the organisation sought the establishment of a Fire Service Station in Mandwi, stating that the absence of a nearby fire station delays emergency response and poses risks to lives and property.<br><br>TSF also demanded the immediate removal of roadside garbage allegedly being dumped along the Khumulwng-Jirania road near Jirania Bridge, around 200-300 metres from the SDM office. The organisation urged the administration to ensure scientific waste disposal without affecting the public or the environment.<br><br>The memorandum further highlighted the poor condition of the Khumulwng-Jirania road, alleging that 7 to 8 large potholes exist within a 4-km stretch leading to the TTAADC headquarters. It stated that the damaged road endangered commuters, including students, office employees and local residents, particularly during the monsoon, and called for immediate repair work.<br><br>A copy of the memorandum was also submitted to the Sub-Divisional Tribal Welfare Officer, Jirania Sub-Division<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Agartala: Jul 10.
