Allegedly, prolonged power outages at some of these camps triggered resentment among local residents. Around 10:30\u201310:55 p.m., a group of youths reportedly entered the Sai Computer office and carried out extensive vandalism.<br><br>Sai Computer Project Manager Rabindra Kumar said the attackers first damaged the control room before entering the main office, where they allegedly destroyed computers, office equipment, furniture, doors, and also damaged an official vehicle. He further claimed that the group broke CCTV cameras and took away the DVR in an apparent attempt to erase evidence.<br><br>However, Kumar stated that the company has footage from another concealed CCTV camera, which is being reviewed to identify those involved.<br><br>&#8220;We are assessing the extent of the damage and will file an FIR after completing the assessment. We will also initiate legal proceedings against those responsible,&#8221; he said.<br><br>Responding to questions, Kumar confirmed that police reached the spot soon after the incident and inspected the office. He added that the company is documenting all damaged assets before proceeding with legal action.<br><br>When asked about the possible motive behind the attack, Kumar said there had been no confirmed power outage complaints in the area at the time of the incident. He noted that the exact reason behind the vandalism would become clear only after the suspects are identified.<br><br>The incident has sparked concern in Kailashahar.
