Tripura, 5 July 2026:<\/strong> In an effort to promote road safety and encourage responsible riding, Sayan TVS organised a Free Helmet Distribution and Road Safety Awareness Programme at its showroom in Khowai on Sunday at 11:00 AM.

The event was attended by Khowai Traffic DSP Bikash Debbarma, Khowai Traffic Officer-in-Charge Samir Debbarma, Khowai Police Station Officer-in-Charge Krishnadhan Sarkar, Khowai Women Police Station Officer-in-Charge Meena Debbarma, Subhash Park Police Outpost Officer-in-Charge Ranjit Sarkar, and Sayan TVS proprietor Sayan Das, along with several other dignitaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The programme began with a traditional welcome ceremony, where guests were honoured with Risha and floral bouquets. The event was formally inaugurated with a ceremonial watering of plants. Delivering the welcome address, Sayan Das highlighted the importance of promoting safe riding habits and creating greater awareness about road safety.

Addressing the gathering, the police officials stressed the need to follow traffic regulations and underscored the importance of wearing helmets to prevent fatal road accidents. They urged motorists to adopt safe driving practices and comply with traffic laws at all times.

As part of the programme, free helmets were distributed to motorcycle riders by the invited guests. Participants were also educated on traffic rules, responsible driving, and the significance of protective gear in reducing road accident fatalities.

The event was compered by noted elocutionist Sour Pratim Sharma and witnessed a large turnout of local residents, who appreciated Sayan TVS’s initiative to enhance public awareness about road safety.
