The sporting event was followed by an awareness session highlighting the harmful effects of drug addiction and the importance of adopting a healthy, disciplined lifestyle through sports and education.<br \/><br \/>Resource persons addressed the gathering, emphasizing that sports play a vital role in keeping young people away from substance abuse while fostering teamwork, discipline, and self-confidence.<br \/><br \/>To encourage continued participation in sports, the <strong>Bamboo Forum of Tripura <\/strong>distributed footballs, sports jerseys, and other sports materials to the participating teams. The winning team was also awarded a cash prize of \u20b910,000, recognizing their outstanding performance and motivating aspiring footballers in the region.<br \/><br \/>Speaking on the occasion, representatives of the Bamboo Forum of Tripura said that channeling the energy of young people into sports is one of the most effective ways to combat the growing menace of drug abuse. They urged the youths of Tulamura to stay focused on education, physical fitness, and positive community activities for a brighter future.<br \/><br \/>The event received an encouraging response from villagers, who appreciated the initiative and welcomed more such programmes in rural areas.
