The newly elected executive committee will serve a two-year term and oversee administrative affairs and legal advocacy initiatives for the legal fraternity in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pritha Deb Paul won the President\u2019s post by polling <strong>186 votes<\/strong>, defeating her nearest rival <strong>Mrinal Kanti Biswas<\/strong>, who secured <strong>165 votes<\/strong>. Other candidates in the fray, <strong>Subrata Debnath<\/strong> and <strong>Tapan Saha<\/strong>, received <strong>158<\/strong> and <strong>42 votes<\/strong> respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the post of <strong>Vice-President (General)<\/strong>, <strong>Jiban Krishna Sen<\/strong> emerged victorious with <strong>221 votes<\/strong>, ahead of <strong>Sanjoy Saha<\/strong> (175 votes) and <strong>Daniel Debbarma<\/strong> (124 votes).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A decisive victory was recorded in the contest for <strong>Secretary (General)<\/strong>, where <strong>Bhaskar Debbarma<\/strong> secured an impressive <strong>298 votes<\/strong>, comfortably defeating <strong>Bidyut Sutradhar<\/strong>, who polled <strong>177 votes<\/strong>. <strong>Raghunath Mukherjee<\/strong> finished third with <strong>68 votes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the reserved categories, <strong>Mallika Saha<\/strong> was elected <strong>Assistant Secretary (Women Reserve)<\/strong> with a commanding <strong>319 votes<\/strong>, defeating <strong>Chaitali Bhattacharjee<\/strong>, who secured <strong>207 votes<\/strong>. The post of <strong>Assistant Secretary (General)<\/strong> went to <strong>Bhabani Ranjan Bhattacharjee<\/strong>, who garnered <strong>219 votes<\/strong>, surpassing <strong>Mintu Debbarma<\/strong> (192 votes) and <strong>Mridul Kanti Arya<\/strong> (101 votes).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among the elected executive committee members in the Women Reserve category, <strong>Ruthi Debbarma<\/strong> topped the list with <strong>322 votes<\/strong>, followed by <strong>Likha Bhowmik<\/strong> (280) and <strong>Bhandari Reang<\/strong> (237).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the General Category, <strong>Subir Saha<\/strong> secured the highest number of votes in the entire election with <strong>342 votes<\/strong>. Other successful candidates included <strong>Niladri Mukherjee<\/strong>, <strong>Debabrata Debnath<\/strong>, <strong>Debjyoti Debnath<\/strong>, <strong>Anirban Lodh<\/strong>, <strong>Arpan Das<\/strong>, and <strong>Kishalay Roy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Out of <strong>601 registered voters<\/strong>, <strong>520 exercised their franchise<\/strong>.
