Their key demands include: Creation of Tiprasa Land,<br>A separate administrative arrangement for Tiprasa people, Introduction of Kokborok in Roman script as per Clause 25 of the Tripartite Agreement (TPA) 2024.<br><br>The protesters have stated that the blockade movement is aimed at preserving the identity and existence of the Tiprasa community and ensuring the implementation of the peace accord.<br><br>The protest continues despite discussions between the agitators and Tribal Welfare Minister Bikash Debbarma, with no breakthrough reported so far. Demonstrators have indicated that the blockade will continue unless concrete assurances are provided regarding their demands.<br><br>A large contingent of police and security personnel has been deployed at the affected locations to maintain law and order.
