Road. Two unidentified miscreants riding a numberless motorcycle allegedly approached her and snatched the gold chain from her neck before speeding away from the scene.<br><br>The victim was reportedly unable to react as the incident happened suddenly. The stolen gold chain is estimated to be worth around \u20b95 lakh. The incident triggered panic among local residents, who gathered at the spot and informed the police.<br><br>Police from Kailashahar Police Station arrived at the scene shortly after receiving the information and have initiated an investigation into the matter.<br><br>Local residents have alleged that incidents of theft and snatching have been increasing in various parts of Kailashahar over the past several months. They claim that despite multiple complaints, there has been little success in arresting offenders or recovering stolen property, leading to growing concerns over public safety and law and order in the town.<br><br>The broad daylight robbery of a senior citizen in a busy area has further raised questions about security arrangements. Residents have urged the authorities to take stronger measures to curb crime and ensure the swift identification and arrest of those involved.<br><br>Meanwhile, the victim&#8217;s family is reportedly preparing to file a formal written complaint with Kailashahar Police Station.
