Traffic movement was badly affected after two goods-laden vehicles became stuck in deep mud and potholes along the road.<br><br>The incident led to a major disruption of vehicular movement on the Kamalpur\u2013Ambassa route, resulting in long traffic queues on both sides of the highway. Office-goers, students, and daily commuters were among those who faced significant hardship.<br><br>Local residents alleged that the road has remained in a deplorable condition for a long time, with large potholes and muddy patches making travel increasingly difficult. They claimed that despite repeated complaints, the concerned authorities have failed to take effective measures to repair the road.<br><br>Efforts were underway to recover the stranded vehicles, but traffic had not returned to normal at the time of filing this report.
