Agartala, June 5:<\/strong> In a landmark step towards strengthening Tripura\u2019s tourism sector, Union Home Minister Amit Shah today performed the bhoomi pujan and laid the foundation stone of the Taj Pushpabanta Palace Hotel at Kunjaban in Agartala.

The ceremony was attended by Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha, members of the state cabinet, Members of Parliament, MLAs, senior government officials, and other distinguished guests.

The programme began with the Union Home Minister participating in the traditional bhoomi pujan ceremony accompanied by Vedic chants. He later unveiled the foundation plaque of the upcoming luxury hotel in the presence of dignitaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the event, Chief Minister Manik Saha felicitated Amit Shah with a replica of the revered Tripura Sundari Temple. On behalf of the Indian Hotels Company Limited, CEO Puneet Chhatwal extended greetings to the Home Minister. A short documentary showcasing the proposed Taj Pushpabanta Palace Hotel project was also screened.

The upcoming luxury hotel will feature 89 standard rooms, 6 executive rooms, 5 executive suites, and 1 presidential villa. The property will also include a banquet block, ballroom, meeting halls, restaurant, swimming pool, and other world-class hospitality facilities.

The project is expected to significantly enhance Tripura\u2019s tourism infrastructure, attract more domestic and international visitors, and contribute to the state’s economic growth and employment generation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
