Agartala: May 29. The School Management Committee (SMC) of PM SHRI Taidu Residential School under the TTAADC was reconstituted today, with local leaders raising serious concerns over the condition of the institution and demanding immediate government intervention.
During the meeting, attended by former TTAADC Executive Member of Health and sitting MDC Kamal Kalai along with MLA Pathan Lal Jamatia, a resolution was unanimously passed highlighting several pressing issues affecting the residential school.
The resolution demanded urgent improvement of the school\u2019s approach road, installation of adequate hostel beds, appointment of cookman and night guard, and provision of quality and nutritious food for students. The committee also stressed the need for sufficient teaching staff, stating that around 150 students are currently studying in the institution.
Leaders present in the meeting expressed concern over the difficulties faced by students due to inadequate infrastructure and shortage of essential facilities. They emphasized that immediate steps are necessary to ensure a healthy academic environment and better residential facilities for the students.
