The victim, identified as Manju Munda, works at a PNB bank and was heading to her office in Bishalgarh when the incident took place.<br><br>Police said the accused, identified as Debabrata Dutta and Bijoy Sarkar, allegedly stopped the woman on the road and asked for directions to Sekerkote Bazaar. While speaking to her, they allegedly snatched the gold chain from her neck and attempted to flee.<br><br>With the help of local residents, the two accused were apprehended shortly after the incident. Police also recovered the stolen gold chain from their possession.<br><br>OC Paritosh Das said a written complaint has been lodged, and a case will be registered against the accused. He added that further investigation is underway to determine whether more individuals were involved in the crime.
