According to reports, while the school maintains a policy prohibiting students from wearing gold ornaments, Riddhima\u2019s parents had recently requested a temporary exemption from the authorities. The alleged theft was discovered on the 24th of the month when Ramu Bose brought his daughter home from school. While changing the child&#8217;s uniform, her mother noticed that her gold chain, weighing approximately nine annas, was missing. Upon being questioned, the four-year-old victim clearly stated that her teacher, Durgadas, had removed the chain from her neck.<br><br>Seeking immediate redress, Ramu Bose approached the school management, who initially dismissed the allegations. Left with no other choice, the father lodged a written complaint at the <strong>Melaghar Police Station.<\/strong> The situation reportedly escalated when the school authorities allegedly began pressuring the family to withdraw the legal case, offering the incentive of free education for Riddhima in exchange for their silence.<br><br>Refusing to compromise on the integrity of the matter, the family has rejected the school\u2019s proposal and has now turned to the media to voice their grievances. They have issued a formal appeal to the Chief Minister, demanding a transparent investigation and exemplary punishment for the accused teacher to ensure the safety of students within educational institutions.
