The arms-laying ceremony was held near Aizawl, marking the end of a long chapter of insurgency in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event was attended by Chief Minister Lalduhoma, senior ministers, legislators, top officials, and community leaders, highlighting the significance of the occasion. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister described the development as a historic milestone and reaffirmed that Mizoram can now proudly stand as a completely peaceful state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He emphasized that peace in Mizoram has been achieved through sustained efforts, dialogue, and cooperation between the government and various communities. Calling for unity, Lalduhoma urged all Mizo tribes to strengthen their shared identity and work together for long-term progress and harmony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The surrender of HPC(D), the last active militant faction in the state, is being seen as a major success for the peace process.
