Movement of the general public will be prohibited daily from <strong>8:00 PM to 5:00 AM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p2\">The directive has been issued under <strong>Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023<\/strong>. It will come into effect from <strong>April 20, 2026<\/strong>, and remain in force until <strong>June 19, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p2\">However, certain categories have been exempted from the restrictions. These include personnel from the armed forces, paramilitary forces, and state police engaged in law enforcement duties. Individuals possessing valid permits issued by the Superintendent of Police, West Tripura, or the Sub-Divisional Magistrates of Sadar and Mohanpur are also exempt.
