She has denied all accusations.<br><br>According to local sources, the incident took place this morning at Chenpui Chhara in Madhuban ADC Village under the <strong>4-Karamchhara assembly constituency<\/strong>. Residents alleged that Debnath, accompanied by her supporters in the afternoon, was distributing money to influence voters despite the campaign period officially ending on April 10 at 4 PM.<br><br>The situation escalated when locals reportedly detained her and informed Dharmanagar police. <strong><em>Officer-in-Charge Mina Debbarma<\/em><\/strong>, along with a large police and TSR contingent, reached the spot to bring the situation under control.<br><br><strong><em>CPI(M) MLA Shailendra Chandra Nath<\/em><\/strong> of Jubarajnagar constituency accused the ruling party of attempting to buy votes out of fear of defeat.<br><br>However, Debnath rejected the allegations, stating that she had visited the area only to attend a puja at a residence and had no political motive.<br><br>With the polling just hours away, the incident has heightened political tension in the constituency.
