The event reflected a significant mobilization by the CPM, signaling its intent to regain political ground in the region.<br><br>The rally began from the CPM Dharmanagar Sub-Divisional Party Office and marched through key parts of the town, with participants carrying party flags, banners, and raising slogans. It culminated at Kalidighi, where a public meeting was held with a large gathering of party cadres and supporters.<br><br>Addressing the gathering, Manik Sarkar sharply criticized both the ruling BJP and the Congress. He alleged that the BJP government has consistently ignored public issues despite repeated protests by CPM. He highlighted concerns such as unfilled vacancies, lack of employment opportunities, and overall governance failures.<br><br>Sarkar further claimed that democratic space in the state is shrinking and positioned CPM as the only viable alternative to safeguard public interest.
