Tripura, April 6: <\/strong>In a politically significant public rally ahead of the upcoming TTAADC elections, Tipra Motha supremo Pradyot Kishore Debbarma delivered a sharp message on alliance politics while addressing a massive gathering on Sunday afternoon at Chagaldema High School Ground in the Jamtail Bari area under the Kachuchhara-Demchhara constituency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rally was organized in support of Tipra Motha candidate Dhirendra Debbarma. Among those present were party leader Ranjan Sinha and several leaders and workers from the party\u2019s different frontal organizations. A large number of supporters were seen attending the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Addressing the gathering, Pradyot Kishore Debbarma spoke emotionally about the identity, land, and rights of the Tiprasa people. He said, \u201cWe are all Tiprasa because we consider our land and homeland as our mother.\u201d He also thanked the people for taking time out to attend the rally even on Easter Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taking a firm stand on alliance politics, he claimed that he had faced pressure from different quarters to enter into an alliance with the BJP. According to him, he was offered incentives such as money and powerful positions in exchange for joining hands politically. However, he said he had made it clear that any alliance holds no value if it does not bring real benefits to the common people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He further asserted that while some leaders may be bought with money, the ordinary Tiprasa people cannot be purchased. \u201cI stand with the Tiprasa people and will continue my fight for their rights,\u201d he declared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Launching a strong attack on the state government, he said that despite having administrative power and financial strength, the ruling side does not have the love and trust of the Tiprasa people. He also accused the Chief Minister of making contradictory statements on several issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the issue of party leaders leaving the organization, Pradyot struck a softer tone, saying that he still has affection for those who have left. \u201cMaybe they had their reasons, but I want to work for the new generation and continue this struggle till the end,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the ADC elections approaching, the rally is being seen as politically significant. While the event created a festive atmosphere in the area, Pradyot Kishore Debbarma\u2019s remarks on alliances and political positioning have once again brought him to the center of political discussion in Tripura.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
