The event will showcase the rich cultural heritage, traditional sports, and customs of the Chakma community.<br><br>The Biju festival, one of the most significant celebrations of the Chakma tribe, is organized annually in different parts of the state on a rotational basis. This year, it is being hosted under the initiative of the <strong><em>Chakma Social Council<\/em><\/strong> at the Jharjharia school ground.<br><br>Participants from various districts, including <em><strong>Unakoti, North Tripura, Dhalai, and regions like Muhuribam and Fenibam<\/strong><\/em> in <strong>South Tripura<\/strong>, are expected to attend in large numbers.<br><br>The organizing committee has extended an open invitation to people from all communities to join and celebrate the three-day cultural festival.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Karbook, Mar 29.
