The vehicle allegedly hit a man after coming from the wrong side of the road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">The injured person has been identified as <strong>Nipen Debnath<\/strong> (45). Local sources claimed that he was allegedly under the influence of intoxicants at the time of the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">Immediately after the accident, eyewitnesses informed the fire service. The fire service personnel promptly rescued the injured and rushed him to Jolaibari Primary Health Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">Considering his critical condition, the attending doctor referred him to Santirbazar District Hospital for advanced treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">Police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
