Agartala, 02 Feb 2026: <\/strong>In a landmark development coinciding with its Golden Jubilee celebrations, Tripura Gramin Bank (TGB) has launched its first-ever Co-Branded RuPay Credit Card in collaboration with its sponsor bank, Punjab National Bank (PNB), marking a historic milestone in the journey of the Regional Rural Bank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this launch, Tripura Gramin Bank has become the first Regional Rural Bank among the eight RRBs sponsored by Punjab National Bank and the first RRB in the country to introduce a Co-Branded RuPay Credit Card, setting a new benchmark in the RRB banking ecosystem at the national level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative was unveiled under the leadership of Shri Satyendra Singh, Chairman, Tripura Gramin Bank, whose strategic vision and emphasis on digital empowerment and customer-centric banking have played a pivotal role in steering the Bank towards innovation and modernization. The launch reflects TGB\u2019s commitment to translating its Golden Jubilee vision into future-ready financial solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The PNB\u2013TGB Co-Branded RuPay Credit Card is aimed at strengthening digital banking outreach, enhancing customer convenience, and promoting financial inclusion, particularly for customers in rural and semi-urban areas. Through the trusted RuPay platform, customers will now gain access to modern credit facilities aligned with India\u2019s indigenous payment ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The prestigious launch ceremony was attended by several eminent dignitaries, including Smt. Rakhi Biswas, Director (Small Savings, Group Insurance & Institutional Finance), Government of Tripura; Shri Deepak Kumar, General Manager \u2013 Public Relations & Credit Card Division, Punjab National Bank (Head Office); Shri Taufique Alam, MD & CEO, PNB Cards & Services Ltd.; Shri Diganta Kumar Das, Deputy General Manager, NABARD \u2013 Tripura Regional Office; and Shri Rituraj Krishna, Deputy General Manager & Circle Head, PNB Circle Office, Agartala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
