Tipra Motha Founder Pradyot Manikya Warns Against \u201cIllegal Capture\u201d of ADC Areas<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tripura, 02 Feb 2026:<\/strong> Tipra Motha founder and royal scion Pradyot Bikram Manikya Debbarma<\/strong> has strongly objected to what he described as an \u201cillegal attempt\u201d to encroach upon the Sixth Schedule Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) regions, particularly citing a recent government notice issued in Bishramganj.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an audio message addressed to the Tiprasa community, Pradyot Manikya<\/strong> said such developments should serve as a wake-up call for the people of Tripura. He expressed concern over the repeated use of the term \u201cdakhhal\u201d (intervention\/occupation), stating that it effectively means \u201ccapture\u201d of ADC land.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat is happening in Bishramganj is an illegal capture,\u201d he alleged. \u201cThere is a deliberate attempt to weaken and ultimately shut down our Sixth Schedule ADC. This ADC was achieved after a lifelong struggle by leaders like Shyamacharan Tripura, Rao Kumar Yang, Nagendra Jamatia, and B.K. Rangkhol. After so many years of sacrifice, today there are forces trying to snatch it away from us.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Tipra Motha founder urged people to introspect and prioritise the future of their children and the rights of the indigenous community over political party interests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou must decide what is more important: a political party or your children\u2019s future? A party or the TTAADC?\u201d he said. \u201cIf you think only about party politics and ignore your rights and your children\u2019s future, then do whatever you wish.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Issuing a firm warning, Pradyot Manikya asserted that he would not allow even \u201cone inch\u201d of ADC land to be taken away illegally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPradyot Bikram Manikya whom you also call Bubagra will never allow even an inch of land to go out of the ADC illegally. This is my full and final commitment,\u201d he declared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
