With the objective of creating an industry-friendly administration across the country and improving the ease of doing business, the Bihar government invited the Tripura government to participate in a special discussion in Bihar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">Accordingly, yesterday a high-level delegation from Tripura, led by Chief Secretary Jitendra Kumar Sinha, visited Bihar. A meeting was held under the leadership of Bihar\u2019s Chief Secretary Pratyaya Amrit, where the Chief Secretaries of both states shared their views. They opined that the exchange of experiences and knowledge would be beneficial for the development of both states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">During the meeting, discussions on the \u201cTripura Model\u201d highlighted Tripura\u2019s administrative reforms, simplified policies, and institutional changes introduced to facilitate business. It was noted that Tripura\u2019s Cabinet-approved Task Force on Deregulation Compliance Reduction 1.0 initiative has been recognized as one of the best in the country. This initiative includes the Single Window clearance system, online approval mechanisms, significant reforms in land and labour laws, a centralized inspection system, and simplified approvals related to water and electricity connections, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">The Tripura delegation explained how outdated rules and complex legal procedures have been simplified to attract investors. The Bihar government also expressed keen interest in adopting the Tripura Model to make its industrial sector more investor-friendly and transparent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">The Tripura delegation included Secretary of the Industries and Commerce Department Kiran Gitte, Secretary of the Urban Development Department Abhishek Singh, and other senior officials.
