{"id":16856,"date":"2025-12-24T08:21:56","date_gmt":"2025-12-24T08:21:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aguli.in\/?p=16856"},"modified":"2025-12-24T08:21:56","modified_gmt":"2025-12-24T08:21:56","slug":"tripura-records-rapid-progress-across-key-sectors-says-cm-dr-manik-saha","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aguli.in\/index.php\/2025\/12\/24\/tripura-records-rapid-progress-across-key-sectors-says-cm-dr-manik-saha\/","title":{"rendered":"Tripura Records Rapid Progress Across Key Sectors, Says CM Dr. Manik Saha"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Tripura, 24 Dec 2025:<\/strong> Tripura is witnessing steady and inclusive development across education, healthcare, drinking water, electricity, sports, road connectivity and agriculture, Chief Minister Manik Saha said on Tuesday while inaugurating multiple development projects in Khowai district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">Addressing a programme at the Dhalabil area of Khowai, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 11 development projects, including the new building of Khowai District Hospital and a 50-bedded Drug De-addiction Centre. He formally launched the projects by planting saplings and unveiling foundation plaques in the presence of public representatives and senior officials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/aguli.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/img_1040-1024x682.jpg\" class=\"wp-image-16854\" alt=\"\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aguli.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/img_1040-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/aguli.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/img_1040-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/aguli.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/img_1040-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/aguli.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/img_1040-330x220.jpg 330w, https:\/\/aguli.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/img_1040-420x280.jpg 420w, https:\/\/aguli.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/img_1040-615x410.jpg 615w, https:\/\/aguli.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/img_1040-860x573.jpg 860w, https:\/\/aguli.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/img_1040-760x506.jpg 760w, https:\/\/aguli.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/img_1040-150x100.jpg 150w, https:\/\/aguli.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/img_1040.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">The Chief Minister said Tripura has been recognised as a \u201cFront Runner State\u201d for policy initiatives and implementation. He noted that the state ranks second among the North-Eastern states in overall development and GDP growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">Highlighting achievements in governance, Dr. Saha said Tripura has become the third fully literate state in the country, with a current literacy rate of 95.6 percent. He added that Tripura is among the few states to have implemented an end-to-end e-office system, leading to improved administrative efficiency and faster service delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">On healthcare, the Chief Minister said medical education opportunities in the state were limited earlier, but the situation has improved significantly. The number of MBBS seats has increased to 450, along with 33 postgraduate (PG) seats, enabling students to pursue medical education within the state at lower costs. He also mentioned that kidney transplantation services have been successfully introduced at GBP Hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">Dr. Saha informed that telemedicine services have been strengthened through an agreement with AIIMS, Delhi, and 102 Ayushman Bharat Health and Wellness Centres are now operational across Tripura. He added that the state has achieved 100 percent saturation under the Prime Minister\u2019s flagship health schemes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">Several major healthcare infrastructure projects are underway, including a 200-bedded Mother and Child Care Centre and a 200-bedded Eye Hospital near GBP Hospital, a Super Specialty Hospital, and construction of a dedicated Dental College building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">Among those present at the programme were MLAs Kalyani Saha Roy, Pinaki Das Chowdhury and Nirmal Biswas; Sabhadhipati of Khowai Zilla Parishad Arpana Singh Roy; Chairperson of Khowai Municipal Council Debashis Nath Sharma; Health Secretary Kiran Gitte; Superintendent of Police Ranaditya Das, and Khowai District Magistrate Rajesh Puth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">Officials stated that the 11 inaugurated projects involve an expenditure of \u20b9102.30 crore, while construction of the new Khowai District Hospital building and the Drug De-addiction Centre will cost \u20b945.86 crore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">At the conclusion of the programme, the Chief Minister unveiled a bronze statue of Dr. Shyamaprasad Mukherjee at Subhash Park in Khowai town and also inaugurated Dr. Shyamaprasad Mukherjee Park and Food Park, marking another milestone in the district\u2019s urban development.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tripura, 24 Dec 2025: Tripura is witnessing steady and inclusive development across education, healthcare, drinking water, electricity, sports, road connectivity and agriculture, Chief Minister Manik Saha said on Tuesday while inaugurating multiple development projects in Khowai district.
