The incident occurred while he was on duty at the Maheshpur border area under the Dharmanagar subdivision of North Tripura district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">According to hospital sources, Bipin Kumar was rushed to the emergency department and admitted to the ICU with a firearm injury to his left shoulder. Doctors stated that there were two entry wounds which later merged into one, indicating a firing-related injury. Initially, his condition was critical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">A doctor attending the case said that after immediate primary management, the jawan\u2019s condition stabilized. He was subsequently sent for a CT scan and is being referred to Agartala for advanced medical treatment. At present, his condition is reported to be relatively stable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">Security agencies have launched an inquiry to ascertain the exact circumstances under which the firing took place at the sensitive border area.
