Agartala, November 30: Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu on Sunday launched three Mobile Health Care Unit (MHCU) vans at a programme held in Raj Bhavan, aiming to improve primary healthcare access in remote and tribal areas of Dhalai and South Tripura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The project has been introduced by Seva International in collaboration with the REC Foundation, with the objective of reaching households that have limited access to medical facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In his address, Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu stressed that every citizen deserves access to basic healthcare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSuch initiatives are not only models of service delivery but also symbols of social justice and compassion,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He further noted that Seva International has been serving vulnerable communities, particularly in the Northeast, for many years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to officials, the mobile units will cover 72 villages across Dhalai and South Tripura districts, delivering services to an estimated 1.5 lakh people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Seva International\u2019s Global Coordinator Shyam Parande and REC Director Narayan Tirupati also spoke at the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Parande said the joint initiative would ensure that essential medical services reach the most underserved communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The vote of thanks was delivered by Seva International\u2019s Executive Director Jinesh Lal R.V.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
