Tripura, 17 Nov 2025:<\/strong> A devastating accident at Hakutwisa\u2013Dumachhara on Monday has left an entire community in grief, after a mother lost her three-year-old child in a tragic road mishap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The family was returning home after withdrawing money from a bank when a speeding car (registration number TR04E 0757) suddenly lost control and rammed into them in the Hakutwisa market area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The child, identified as 3-year-old Ram Debbarma, was rushed to the hospital immediately, but doctors declared him dead on arrival. Eyewitnesses alleged that the vehicle was being driven by a drunk driver, turning a normal day into a nightmare for the grieving mother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mother, who was carrying her son at the time of the accident, broke down in uncontrollable tears as she watched her only child slip away in her arms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon learning of the tragedy, MLA Paul Dangshu visited the hospital to console the family. He later posted an emotional message on social media:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhat can be more heartbreaking than a three-year-old child dying in a mother\u2019s arms after a tragic accident, where an out-of-control car hit the child in our Hokutwisa market today. Will be standing by the family in all possible way. Please drive responsibly everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The incident has sparked widespread mourning in the area, with residents demanding strict action against reckless and drunk driving. Authorities are investigating the case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
