The National Medical Commission (NMC) has approved 50 additional MBBS seats for Tripura Medical College and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Memorial Teaching Hospital in Agartala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">With this approval, the total intake at TMC has gone up from 100 to 150 seats, taking the overall number of MBBS seats in Tripura to 450.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">Dr. Saha said that in the last three years, Tripura has added 225 new MBBS seats, calling it a major milestone in the state government\u2019s ongoing efforts to improve medical education and healthcare infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">Expressing his gratitude, the Chief Minister thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Health Minister J.P.
