However, the rider ignored the signal, prompting police to intercept the bike. On searching, officers recovered bundles of \u20b9500 notes amounting to \u20b97 lakh, which were reportedly hidden around their waists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">One of the detainees has been identified as Rubel Hossain, a resident of Rahimpur under Boxanagar. On searching them, we found 60 bundles of \u20b9500 notes. They couldn\u2019t give a proper answer about where the money came from. The traffic unit then brought them to the police station for further questioning.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">Police suspect the cash could be linked to illegal narcotics trade that has been spreading in the border belt.
