Agartala: Nov 02. The National Commission for Women (NCW), New Delhi, will organize a \u201cRashtriya Mahila Aayog Aapke Dwar \u2013 Mahila Jan Sunwai\u201d programme at Dharmanagar Circuit House, North Tripura, on November 6, 2025, starting from 10 a.m.
The hearing will be chaired by Dr. Archana Majumdar, Member, NCW. During the event, 17 pending complaints related to women\u2019s issues from North Tripura, Gomati, South Tripura, West Tripura, and Unakoti districts covering cases registered between 2020 and 2025 will be taken up. These cases are currently under consideration with the respective police authorities.
The primary objective of this initiative is to ensure speedy and effective resolution of women-related complaints and to provide a direct platform for complainants to interact with district administration and police officials.
In addition to scheduled cases, the Commission will also accept and hear new \u201cwalk-in\u201d complaints on the day of the event.
