In a significant political development, former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC), Chandra Kumar Jamatia, has formally joined the Tipra Motha Party on Monday. The induction took place in the joining programme at Rabindra Starbharshiki Bhawan, here. The program was held in the presence of party founder Bubagra Pradyot Bikram Manikya Debbarma and Cabinet Minister Animesh Debbarma, and Council&#8217; Chairman Jagadish Debbarma, among others leaders, marking another boost to the regional party\u2019s leadership strength. <br><br>A 2006-batch IAS (SCS) officer of Tripura cadre, Jamatia brings decades of bureaucratic experience into the political fold. He holds an M.A. in Political Science from North Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong (1988), and has previously served in several key administrative posts including District Magistrate of Sepahijala and North Tripura, Director of Tribal Welfare, and Secretary of General Administration (Printing &amp; Stationery) and Agriculture &amp; Farmers\u2019 Welfare Department.<br><br>Political observers view his entry as a strategic and timely move, given the TTAADC\u2019s current ruling party&#8217;s focus on strengthening Motha&#8217;s leadership.<br><br>Jamatia\u2019s experience and familiarity with the region\u2019s tribal affairs are expected to lend both administrative stability and political depth to the ongoing transformation within the ADC.
