During the operation, they detained a suspect identified as&nbsp;<strong>Nazimuddin (37)<\/strong>, a resident of Tarekpur under Kadamtala Police Station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upon searching a handbag he was carrying, police discovered&nbsp;<strong>50 pouches of Yaba tablets, each containing 200 pieces<\/strong>, making a total of&nbsp;<strong>10,000 tablets weighing approximately 1 kilogram<\/strong>. The estimated street value of the seized narcotics is between&nbsp;<strong>\u20b920 and \u20b925 lakh<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Officer-in-Charge of Churaibari Police Station&nbsp;<strong>Debabrata Biswas<\/strong>&nbsp;confirmed that the contraband was seized in the presence of a forensic team (FSL) and an executive magistrate. Police suspect the drugs were being smuggled from Assam into Tripura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A case under the&nbsp;<strong>NDPS Act<\/strong>&nbsp;is being registered against Nazimuddin.
