The incident dates back to August 15, when a quarrel broke out between Apolo Munda and his wife, Swapna Munda, over a family matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the altercation, Apolo Munda allegedly attacked his wife with a stick. When their neighbor, Chhamili Jhora, intervened to save Swapna, she was struck with the stick. Chhamili collapsed on the spot with severe injuries and was rushed by locals to Khowai District Hospital. Seeing her critical condition, doctors referred her to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/share.google\/GKo8lPaNELUJTp6JO\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/share.google\/GKo8lPaNELUJTp6JO\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GBP Hospital in Agartala.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite receiving treatment, Chhamili Jhora succumbed to her injuries on September 7. The following day, her husband Bishu Munda lodged a written complaint at Baijalbari police station against Apolo Munda. A case was registered (Case No. 05\/25) under sections 118(2)\/103\/329 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Acting on the case, police launched an investigation and arrested Apolo Munda last night from Belchhara area.
