{"id":13573,"date":"2025-09-03T06:31:19","date_gmt":"2025-09-03T06:31:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aguli.in\/?p=13573"},"modified":"2025-09-03T06:31:30","modified_gmt":"2025-09-03T06:31:30","slug":"two-minor-girls-rescued-kidnappers-arrested-from-assams-jorhat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aguli.in\/index.php\/2025\/09\/03\/two-minor-girls-rescued-kidnappers-arrested-from-assams-jorhat\/","title":{"rendered":"Two Minor Girls Rescued, Kidnappers Arrested from Assam\u2019s Jorhat"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Agartala, September 3: <\/strong>In a major breakthrough, police from Amtali Police Station rescued two minor girls and arrested their alleged kidnappers from Jorhat, Assam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Amtali Police Station Officer-in-Charge\u00a0<strong>Paritosh Das<\/strong>, the incident took place yesterday when two youths<strong> Julfiqul Mia of Kanchanmala<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Sagar Mia of Khayerpur<\/strong> allegedly kidnapped two minor girls from the Amtali area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following a complaint lodged by the victims\u2019 families, police formed a special team and tracked the accused using mobile number analysis, SDR data, and tower location. Acting swiftly, the team rescued the minors and apprehended the accused from Jorhat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A case has been registered under&nbsp;<strong>sections 65 and 87(1)(143) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS)<\/strong>&nbsp;along with provisions of the&nbsp;<strong>POCSO Act<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The two accused are currently in police custody and will be produced before the court tomorrow, the OC confirmed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Agartala, September 3: In a major breakthrough, police from Amtali Police Station rescued two minor girls and arrested their alleged kidnappers from Jorhat, Assam.
