While the donor search facility is free, a&nbsp;<strong>nominal fee of \u20b935<\/strong>&nbsp;is charged for appointment bookings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to its developers, the app currently has&nbsp;<strong>over 2,000 registered blood donors<\/strong>&nbsp;and receives&nbsp;<strong>five to six donor requests daily<\/strong>. More than&nbsp;<strong>100 doctors, including veterinary professionals<\/strong>, are also listed on the platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Explaining the idea behind the initiative, the founders said they noticed a major gap between patients, doctors, and emergency services. \u201cWe wanted to build a simple platform where people could quickly find a doctor or a blood donor when they need them most,\u201d said co-founder&nbsp;<strong>Pallav Nath<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The process of registering as a donor is straightforward: users provide their&nbsp;<strong>name, location, blood group, and phone number<\/strong>. Patients in need can then connect with volunteers directly through the app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BYDON is available for download on both&nbsp;<strong>Android and iOS platforms<\/strong>.
