According to police, around 3 PM, locals spotted a body floating in the pond and immediately informed the authorities. The police rushed to the spot and, with the help of residents, confirmed the identity of the deceased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Family members said Das had gone missing since Tuesday afternoon. Despite overnight searches, his whereabouts remained unknown until the discovery of his body in the pond near his home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe received information from Mahadebtila about a floating body. On reaching the spot, it was identified as Samir Ranjan Das.
