Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said,\u00a0<em><strong>\u201cWe aspire to build a society, a state, and a nation free from evil forces and injustice. Lord Shri Krishna taught us to live life with righteousness and noble intentions.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year marks the&nbsp;<strong>74th Janmashtami celebration<\/strong>&nbsp;organized by the&nbsp;<strong>Tripura Yadav Mahasabha<\/strong>. On the occasion, the Chief Minister unveiled the covers of various idols at the temple and highlighted the spiritual significance of the festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking further, he said,\u00a0<em><strong>\u201cJust as the Bhagavad Gita is the sacred scripture for Hindus, Janmashtami is a holy festival for all. Today, people across the world are reading and practicing the teachings of the Gita. Since Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister, the country has witnessed a new wave of development, peace, and spirituality. True service lies in serving humanity, and through human service, one attains God.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also underlined the importance of temples as places of peace, stating that Indian culture and spirituality are deeply interconnected.&nbsp;<em>\u201cSpirituality builds a stronger society, and this path is essential for the welfare of humankind,\u201d<\/em>&nbsp;he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event was graced by&nbsp;<strong>Bhakti Kamal Vaishnav Maharaj<\/strong>&nbsp;of Shri Chaitanya Gaudiya Math, Agartala Jagannath Jew Monastery, who delivered a spiritual address. The welcome speech was delivered by the Chairman of the Tripura Yadav Advisory Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the dignitaries present were Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor&nbsp;<strong>Dipak Majumder<\/strong>, Corporator&nbsp;<strong>Ratna Dutta<\/strong>, and Tripura Yadav Mahasabha President&nbsp;<strong>Debabrata Ghosh<\/strong>.
