The trio, allegedly involved in frequent thefts to fund their drug habit, were handed over to Bishalgarh police after being beaten by enraged residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to witnesses, the youths had been creating panic in the locality by stealing household items and engaging in antisocial activities. Acting on a tip-off, police reached the spot to find the suspects in public custody.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThey admitted to drug use but claimed they had quit. No drugs were found during the initial search. One of them owns a vehicle, but nothing suspicious was recovered from it. They say they deal in second-hand goods.
