The awards recognise the outstanding contributions of weavers, designers, marketers, start-ups, and producer companies in the handloom sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Addressing the gathering, Minister Singh highlighted the increasing&nbsp;<strong>global demand for sustainable textile products<\/strong>, and noted that India&#8217;s handloom industry is well-positioned to meet this growing trend.
