On the other hand, the United Nations commemorates International Friendship Day on 30th July every year. Accordingly, today \u2014 August 3rd India is celebrating Friendship Day with warmth and enthusiasm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">Reflecting on the essence of friendship, William Shakespeare once said,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cA friend is one that knows you as you are, understands where you have been, accepts what you have become, and still, gently allows you to grow.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">Greek philosopher Aristotle defined friendship as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cA single soul dwelling in two bodies.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">Friendship is a bond that empowers individuals to overcome life\u2019s ups and downs together. From sharing joys and failures to offering emotional support, planning trips, or standing beside each other during life\u2019s milestones the spirit of friendship shines through every act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">In Tripura, too, Friendship Day is being celebrated in various creative and heartfelt ways.
