The campaign is being held from\u00a0<strong>July 1 to September 30, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Addressing a press conference at the Tripura State Legal Services Authority (TSLSA) Conference Hall, Member Secretary&nbsp;<strong>Jhuma Dutta Choudhury<\/strong>&nbsp;informed that the campaign aims to promote mediation as a preferred method for the resolution of civil disputes and reduce the burden on courts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under this initiative, a wide range of disputes are being referred to mediation centres for out-of-court settlement. These include&nbsp;<strong>matrimonial disputes<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>motor accident compensation claims<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>domestic violence-related cases<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>cheque bounce matters<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>commercial disputes<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>employment issues<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>compoundable criminal cases<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>consumer grievances<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>loan recovery<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>property partition matters<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>eviction cases<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>land acquisition disputes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMediation is a recognized method of dispute resolution that brings both parties to the same table, allowing them to settle matters amicably and at a much lower cost,\u201d said Choudhury. \u201cThe campaign aims to empower people to resolve conflicts through mutual agreement, facilitated by trained mediators.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tripura currently has&nbsp;<strong>nine mediation centres<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp;<strong>one at the High Court of Tripura<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>one each in the eight district courts<\/strong>.
