Agartala, July 10: <\/strong>Tripura CM Dr. Manik Saha on Wednesday chaired a high-level meeting at Agartala Government Dental College<\/strong><\/a>, <\/strong>underscoring the state government’s commitment to modernizing healthcare infrastructure and enhancing dental services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting, held in the presence of senior doctors, the college principal, and top administrative officials, focused on improving healthcare delivery, expanding dental treatment facilities, and upgrading medical education infrastructure. Chief Minister Saha engaged in a direct dialogue with the medical professionals, attentively listening to their concerns and suggestions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He reiterated the government’s priority in strengthening the state\u2019s healthcare system and said, \u201cWe are committed to the modernization of healthcare services and to ensuring quality medical care for every patient.<\/strong>\u201d Key issues discussed included the addition of advanced dental equipment, recruitment of skilled personnel, and improvement of academic and residential facilities for students. Plans are also underway to reinforce research and training infrastructure within the college. Health Secretary Kiran Gitte and other senior health department officials were present at the meeting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister also chaired a vital meeting of the Patient Welfare Committee at IGM Hospital and the Dental College. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Saha remarked, \u201cPatient welfare remains our highest priority. Our government is working relentlessly to ensure every patient in Tripura\u2019s hospitals receives the highest standard of care.\u201d<\/strong> The review meetings, attended by key stakeholders, delved into current service gaps, infrastructural needs, and actionable strategies for implementation. Dr. Saha assured that all patient-centric recommendations would be pursued with urgency and accountability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
